If you have always had the dream of becoming an actor, you need to realize that it is a competitive industry and you will need to improve and hone your acting skills if you want a real shot at succeeding. The first thing you need to realize is that your script is one of the most important things that can make or break your chances. You should know it and know it well! Fourth, you must and I repeat, you must learn to breath properly! You should practice your breathing for at least twenty minutes every day. You should also learn some stress relieve technique and use them daily to reduce the amount of stress that you encounter as an actor.

Fifth, you need to always be professional when dealing with fellow actors and others in the industry. This means that you treat them with respect; show up on time or early on the day of shooting. Doing this will make you look like a sincere and devoted actor and will put you above your competition.

Lastly, you need to focus on learning the fine art of acting. The easiest and quickest way to learn this is by practicing. The more you act the more you will learn about acting.
